To Do One Thing And Do it Well

I’ve recently taken a liking to web services that seek to do one thing and do it well, one example is Gravatar, you upload your picture on their site, and anytime you log into another website (i intensely dislike having to log into websites btw) you can link to the gravatar image rather than a locally hosted one. It saves the user from having to update multiple accounts, and saves the admin from having to implement another file storage and upload system. Neat!!
